Kimberly Saunders is a writer, performer, and educator originally from Syracuse, New York now residing in Charlotte, North Carolina. She holds an undergraduate degree in creative writing and film and a graduate degree in English. Surprisingly enough, she actually found a job that uses those degrees to teach writing at Central Piedmont Community College. Her creative non-fiction focuses on humor and honesty and has been published online in The Furious Gazelle, Sweatpants & Coffee, and Twenty-Two Twenty-Eight. Her dramatic works were featured as part of the SUNY Oswego New Voices Play Festival from 2007-2010. More recently, her plays have been produced in person with Davidson Community Players and online with the 3x10 Virtual Play Festival.
